Caroline, trusted Pet Sitter for Wadhurst & Surrounding Areas. Fully Insured, DBS Checked and Canine First Aid Trained

Hello, my name is Caroline and I am an all round animal lover!
I know the worry, guilt and the 'not knowing who to trust' when it comes to needing somebody to look after your dear pets when you go away from home. Rest assured, your pets would be in capable hands with me!
My husband Edward has been on a number of Pet Sits with me now. He is American, and now calls England his home. He also loves and adores all animals, and will be accompanying myself on sits. We can provide lovely references from clients. Edward is caring, loving, and attentive to animals, just like myself! He is also fully insured under my insurance.
A bit about my past. From a young age, I have always loved and appreciated the natural world (David Attenborough being a hero of mine). I have grown up around animals, never being too far away from hamsters, rabbits, dogs, cats, the usual pets you have growing up!
You may see from my pictures that Golden Retrievers feature quite frequently. I have grown up with Golden's, our family boy Barney certainly is very photogenic!
I always wanted to further a career in animal care however my life took me down a different path. I am now fortunate enough to bring together my love of animals to my working life. I now have the opportunity to work from home, this has allowed me to fulfill my passion for animals, and Pet Sit all over the Kent and Sussex area.
I try to give back to the animal world when I can, volunteering at local animal charities when I have free time. I have previously completed work experience at a local veterinary surgery in Crowborough, this ultimately drove my passion. I said to myself 'One day I will work with animals', now, this is my reality!

There are a number of reasons why a Pet Sitter is the best option for you and your pet. Maybe they are a golden oldie who now prefers the comfort of their own home, and the company of just humans. Maybe the thought of kennels is too overwhelming and your pet would not do well in those surroundings. Maybe your pup is reactive to other dogs, so a dog boarder also is not an option. Some boarders or kennels may not accept dogs that are not neutered/fully vaccinated, or maybe your pet needs regular medicine. These are only a few factors to consider when it comes to pet care, and who would be best suited to look after your furry family member when you go away.
This is were myself and Edward come in! I have many reviews from my lovely, supportive clients who all trust me with their pets when they need someone to look after them.
Whether you are going away on holiday, a day trip or simply need a drop-in, I can accommodate all of the above. My overnight stays cover a full 24-hour period and I do not do any group dog walking, meaning that I provide constant care throughout the day. This is where I differ from many pet sitters! There may be instances where I do a 'drop-in' visit for an existing client, however typically I would not be longer than an hour away from your home. Sometimes we go to the cinema, or out for dinner, however nothing out of the ordinary of a normal day in life!
My charge is the same for puppies and adults.
I will provide the 'lived in' look for peace of mind when you are away. Watering plants, taking the bins out, bringing mail in, is all included in the Pet Sit.
If you are located outside of the Wadhurst area, a fuel surcharge will apply.

I have Pet Sitters Insurance for your peace of mind, as well as mine. Alongside pet sitting, my insurance also covers the below:
Dog Walking (For walking up to six dogs)
Pet Taxi
Pet Transportation
I am Canine First Aid trained, this also includes Felines. CDP accredited.
